Surprising our SUBSCRIBER with his DREAM CAR BUILD! (Full Transformation): 2014 Subaru BRZ

Alex was recently announced as the winner for throtl Dream Build #2! As the winner of #throtldreambuild2, Alex got his car shipped out to San Diego California to be fully modified by the throtl team. When Alex's car arrived, it was a mostly-stock 2014 Subaru BRZ. As soon as the car arrived at the throtl headquarters, the team immediately got to work on some modifications. Alex's car got the works with some new interior, exterior, and performance-based modifications. Interior Modifications For the interior of the BRZ, we installed a custom black suede headliner, throtl shift knob, and a new audio system from OEM Audio+. Buying a NEW Project Car! (Gone terribly wrong!)

As some of you may know, Mickey has been daily driving his Lexus CT200h for the last few years. well, Mickey has decided that it's time for a change. In today's episode of throtl, Rick and Mickey go on the hunt for a new project car!

This project car will be something new for the throtl channel because we are finally building a USDM style project car. There were some considerations of getting a Ford Ecoboost Mustang because those models of the Ford Mustang have a slightly more JDM feeling to them with their boosted 4 cylinder engines. However, Mickey decided to go full USDM spec and get a 5.0 liter V8 Mustang with a manual gearbox. The 5.0L V8 makes 460 horsepower from the factory and it rips! Mickey and Rick's reaction to the horsepower is priceless.

Although the original plan was to get this Mustang, something ended up going wrong... Check it out for yourself in the video below.
