Surprising our SUBSCRIBER with his DREAM CAR BUILD! (Full Transformation): 2014 Subaru BRZ

Alex was recently announced as the winner for throtl Dream Build #2! As the winner of #throtldreambuild2, Alex got his car shipped out to San Diego California to be fully modified by the throtl team. When Alex's car arrived, it was a mostly-stock 2014 Subaru BRZ. As soon as the car arrived at the throtl headquarters, the team immediately got to work on some modifications. Alex's car got the works with some new interior, exterior, and performance-based modifications. Interior Modifications For the interior of the BRZ, we installed a custom black suede headliner, throtl shift knob, and a new audio system from OEM Audio+. The OEM Audio+ system sounds significantly better than the factory audio system. This made it way more enjoyable to listen to music in the BRZ. The Opelite Optics headliner had a space theme with led shooting stars that lit up the roof of the BRZ, adding a nice bit of style to the interior. #Spotted On throtl: 1967 Shelby GT500, 427 FE motor, 4 spd

Mustang GT500 with race lineage GT40 motor under the bonnet!

Just the way we love our classics! This is no numbers matching cream puff restoration build-up that is destined to sit in a showroom or man cave somewhere to drool over. This is a driver, meant to be driven HARD, with the 427ci heart of a historic LeMans racer of the 60's. The ITB's must sound unreal on this beauty and we would love to find out! The owner recently posted it to our page for sale with this to say about the legendary Shelby Mustang:

"A fine example of one of America's most handsome muscle cars. Best in Class Award at Cruisin' for a Cure show a couple years ago. With 51,600 miles, this refurbished, repainted (originally white) fastback is finished in midnight mist blue paint on black leather. It features a 1968 date coded 427 FE engine (as in the '66 and '67 LeMans winning GT40s) with 4x2 Weber downdraft carbs, so performance is neck snapping. Factory 4 speed car maintained by top marque pro. Rear end geared for street use, not drag strip. Power steering and freshly installed braking system. Needs nothing other than an enthusiastic new owner. Solid frame, body and interior. In the Shelby Registry. Message John for more details."

Asking $159,900, it may not be for everyone. But to the right enthusiast this is one helluva car for the money. A classic that will break necks at the drive in and the road course. Go ahead, check it out for yourself!
