The Real Reason Why You Won't Ever Get a Porsche 911 GT3
Although the new Porsche 911 GT3 is a popular car among car enthusiasts, there is a large barrier to entry to anyone who is trying to get their hands on one. While many car enthusiasts love the 911 GT3, not many will have the chance to own one of these new sports cars due to their high price point. The 911 GT3 comes in at a starting price of $161,000 before tax, registration, and any additional add ons. This starting price is almost $20,000 more than the GT3 from 2020. While the price point on the GT3 is high, it is still a difficult car to own, even for people who have plenty of money to spare.
The real reason why the Porsche 911 GT3 is a difficult car to own is due to supply chain issues. To state the obvious, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused mass amounts of supply chain issues in multiple industries around the world. When it comes to the automotive industry, it has been difficult to not only get parts manufactured but get them shipped in a timely manner. This has caused lots of frustration throughout the entire industry over the past year. In relation to the production of the Porsche 911 GT3, word around the street is that production is not expected to speed up, in fact, it is expected to slow down.
